Born on February 21, 1980, in Yaroslavl, Anton Levin is an internationally recognized composer specializing in original music for film, television, video games, trailers, and commercial media. His work blends orchestral writing, hybrid sound design, and contemporary neoclassical aesthetics, covering the full production cycle from composition and orchestration to final audiovisual integration.
Anton began his musical journey at an early age, studying piano and developing a strong foundation in classical music. In 1998, he co-founded the band Millennium (later renamed Santerno), where he served as composer, keyboardist, and creative leader. The project gained national recognition and helped shape his distinctive compositional voice. The band released the album Six (2005) along with the compilations Diving (Pogruzhenie) in 2006 and Shizomorph-1 in 2007 before disbanding in 2012.
In 2014, Anton transitioned fully into solo work under the alias Synthezx, focusing on music for television, advertising, and digital media. During this period, he established himself on international licensing platforms and expanded his activity as a composer and arranger.
Between 2017 and 2023, Anton collaborated with several bands as a composer, arranger, and keyboardist. His work during this period includes contributions to Karcinoma’s album Invictus (2021) and orchestration for the internationally recognized folk band Scald.
Since 2020, Anton has been actively working in the global film and trailer music industry. He has collaborated with leading international labels such as Phantom Power, Position Music, Figure and Groove, Gothic Storm, and Kings & Creatures, contributing music used in productions for major studios and broadcasters worldwide. In early 2023, he founded the brand Audio-SX, under which he produces high-quality music for television, media, and advertising.
His compositions have been featured by leading U.S. television networks including NBC, NBC Sports, CNBC, and USA Network, appearing in nationally and internationally broadcast programs such as America’s Got Talent, coverage of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and the 150th Kentucky Derby. His music was also selected for the official trailer of the video game Battlefield 2042 (Electronic Arts).
Anton served as the sole composer for the short film Cozen (dir. S. Joe Downing), which received multiple prestigious awards at international film festivals in the United States. He continues to develop new projects in film and audiovisual storytelling.
To date, Anton Levin has released multiple albums spanning orchestral, hybrid, and neoclassical styles. His recent works include Neoclassica Vol. 2, which received international recognition including ISSA Awards and Global Music Awards, as well as the award-winning album Frozen Souls. In 2021, he released the single Way Back Home in collaboration with the vocalist of his first band, Millennium; the track received the InterContinental Music Awards in 2024.
In addition to his creative work, Anton contributes to the professional community through research in music technology and audiovisual composition. His scholarly articles are used as educational and methodological materials in music schools and arts institutions..
Anton Levin is a member of the Russian Musical Union (RMU), the International Singer-Songwriters Association (ISSA), and a voting member of the Hollywood Music in Media Academy.
