Big news! My album Neoclassica Vol. 2 has been named “International Male Album of the Year” at the 2025 ISSA Awards in Atlanta, Georgia.

This year’s competition was record-breaking — over 30,000 submissions from around the world, and only 95 winners across all categories. The ISSA Awards is now officially recognized by the Recording Academy / GRAMMYs®, making this achievement even more special.

For me, this victory is more than just a trophy — it’s proof that music connects people everywhere. I’m proud to see neoclassical music gaining recognition on the global stage.

Joe Downing and featuring my original music, has been officially selected and honored at several prestigious international film festivals. Credited under my professional alias Synthezx, I served as the sole composer for the film’s original score, which played a vital role in shaping its emotional tone and artistic depth.

I’m thrilled to share that my album Neoclassica Vol.2 has been named a finalist in this prestigious competition. The winners will be chosen by a distinguished panel of past gold-level recipients and announced at the live awards ceremony on August 23, 2025, at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center in Atlanta, Georgia, home of the BMI Awards.

This year I became a finalist in one of the world's largest competitions in the category "Singer/Songwriter". The song "Way back home" was recorded with my vocalist Ilya Kasatkin and took an honorable place among a huge number of competitors from different countries. The other day there was an interview with me where I discuss the fact that artificial intelligence cannot replace the unique self-expression of a composer. While technology can help create music, true depth and emotion only comes from people. I see the potential of AI in learning and improving technical aspects, but I emphasize that true creativity comes from human feelings and experiences.

I am the winner in Common Scoring Competition for writing music for a short film "Alone At Last" with the participation of a fairly famous actor Hanno Friedrich . This competition was organized by cool composers from Germany Andreas Dormann and Martin Heidenreich. Winner Announcement

The article is called "ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN MUSIC. ITS IMPACT ON THE MUSIC INDUSTRY IN THE FUTURE" in which I tried to explore in more detail the question of the impact of AI on the future in the arts. Based on the knowledge base I gained, in my opinion the topic is ambiguous. As a general conclusion, I think it is too early to talk about total AI control, but progress does not stand still and in the future everything may change dramatically.

My article "BASIS OF EQUALIZATION AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR MUSIC MIXING IN HEADPHONES: PRACTICAL ASPECT" was published in the scientific and methodological journal "Music and Electronics" issue 4 quarter 2023.
